This is a premium hote, with high levels of service.
The staff are friendly and happy to help.
Brunei is a call and peaceful location to take a rest and the beds at the Empire are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. (We accidentally napped for quite a long time here)
The food at the hotel restaurant 'Pantai' is good, but not great value.

The entrance was gorgeous, and we were greeted by many staff members who were very kind and smiling, making our stay pleasant from start to finish.
When we checked in, they introduced us to tours, which was great.
They even asked about our return flight and transportation, and were very helpful with everything.
The oatmeal cookies sold in the hotel were delicious, and they let us try some.
All drinks and snacks in the room were free.
